While November will be a busy election season, no issue on the 2010 ballot will be more important than Amendment 4.  In this tough economy, the last thing Florida needs is an irresponsible amendment that will cost jobs, raise taxes and make it more expensive to live in our state.

But that’s exactly what Amendment 4 will do.

This impacts you directly.  Moreover, it will permanently damage Florida’s economy and unique quality of life.  As a result, our Chamber of Commerce will be asking voters to VOTE NO on 4.

Save the date for Thursday September 16h as the Chamber of Commence welcomes the President of the Business Development Board of Palm Beach County Kelly Smallridge for a presentation on the Economic Development process within Palm Beach County and how Boynton Beach can be prepared to attract expanding and relocating business. This luncheon will reinforce our partnership between the Chamber, the Business Development Board,  the City of Boynton Beach and the Community Redevelopment Agency to ready our business community for the economic recovery. The Chamber of Commerce is preparing for the 2010 Compson Cup Golf Tournament at the Atlantis Country Club on September 30th. We have a full afternoon of Networking on the Golf Course with an Awards Dinner to follow. Lunch is provided prior to Tee-Off at 1:00PM. Registration and Practice Range will open at 11:30AM with a Shot-Gun Start at 1:00PM.
