Kid's Kingdom is one of the largest playgrounds. Built by dedicated community volunteers, Kid's Kingdom is a constant source of community pride. It is located on Ocean Avenue east of Seacrest on the city's Town Square campus.
Beach Conditions Information
The Boynton Beach and Palm Beach County Beach Patrols provide information regarding daily beach conditions. After 9 am, a recording describes water and weather conditions, as well as hazards such as the presence of man-o-war or sea lice. For information, call: South Palm Beach County, 276-3990 or North Palm Beach County, 624-0065. ![]() It is a little known fact that many consider the just offshore of Boynton Beach some of the most exciting underwater sites in Florida, if not the world. The entire area just outside of Boynton's inlet is basically one giant dive site. And unlike many places in the world today, the local underwater landscape is lush, healthy and full of wonderful marine life in every shape, size and color imaginable.
Fishermen studying their navigational charts know that Boynton Beach has an undisputed advantage over all other Atlantic Ocean cities ”” it is the closest community to the Gulf Stream. That means, if you enjoy fishing, you can be in 800 feet of beautiful crystal blue water and deep sea fishing within 5 minutes, after departing from the Boynton Inlet.
To make access to deep sea fishing even easier, the City of Boynton Beach owns and operates Boat Ramp Park, a public boat ramp for anyone who trailers a boat. This launching facility is only a few minutes away from Boynton Inlet. If you don't have your own boat, drift fishing charters are available three times a day and charter-fishing boats depart daily from the Sea Mist Marina.
